I build the unglamorous layers that keep large products honest — the storage, the queues, the security perimeters, the observability — at the scale where small mistakes become outages and small wins compound into business outcomes.
My current focus is the intersection of platform persistence and AI-augmented engineering: how teams ship trustworthy software faster with agents and assistants without losing the discipline that makes large codebases survivable. I care about partitioning strategies that don't blow up at peta byte scale, telemetry that doesn't lie, and developer workflows that read like production code, not folklore.
